The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland's most famous natural wonders. They are located on the west coast, about two and a half hours by car from Cork, and directly overlook the Atlantic Ocean with rock walls reaching up to 214 metres in height.
Their history is very ancient: these cliffs were formed over 300 million years ago, when the area was still submerged by an ancient sea.
